What We Do

At RealWellness, we use a holistic science and biology-based approached to identify and address imbalances within your body. These imbalances are often times due to our lifestyle, which is why we first investigate the 8 Essential Lifestyle Functions (8 ELF’s), as they relate to your life and lifestyle. We firmly believe that our day to day choices drastically alter our health status, and by properly balancing these essentials we allow the body to start healing innately.

The essentials are key components to health. When the body lacks any of them it can lead to issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, digestive issue and other chronic health problems, according to the World Health Organization.

 

Choosing to embark on a journey to transition to a healthier lifestyle or simply improve your health is one of the most important decisions you can make. To that end, we make this process as simple as possible by cutting through all the hype and misinformation. We provide you with only the best, most relevant, health information there is to offer.

Resolving your health concerns and obstacles, starts with looking at the root causes. The symptoms are the key messengers, giving you neuroendocrine response that something is not right.

Using plasters to heal a cut, serves a temporary purpose. But what happens if you repetitively open the cut. You’ll need more plasters.
But what if we find out that your only cutting yourself because your knife is blunt or that no one taught you how to cut onions properly etc.

Looking at the human physiology, logically, at how we function, what our state of mind is, our environmental influence and all other key inputs such as food, movement, community. We will have a greater overall positive effect whilst looking at the potential weakest link, which is causing the symptoms and problems to occur.

Being patched up with plasters and being at the mercy of a gust of wind  to send you topping over is not practical.

Quick fixes might temporarily work. But you should notice you repetitively go back and forth like a yo-yo continuously never resolving the issue / problem.
That’s where self realisation comes in. I truly believe self realisation/ reflection is the first step for taking back control of your health.
Once you work on your self then you will have more purpose / passion and understanding of your body.

Focus on the most visible portions on your plate. If you eat out make sure they respect  your health and don't  skimp out on your veggies.

Make meat your side dish not your main dish.

A easy way to remember how your plate should look, 1/2 your plate should be carbs, 1/4 protein and 1/4 veggies and a don’t  forget your healthy fat, which is not shown.
